ESG Lab & Society
ESG Lab & Society all started when people with shared convictions crossed decided to embark on an exciting adventure together.
ESG Lab & Society was born from the common desire to create an impactful project aimed at pragmatically accelerating the transition of organizations by placing ESG principles at the center of the process.
ESG Lab & Society results from the work of different people and groups involved in the ESG ecosystem who have eagerly accepted to commit to an innovative approach of “co-building”.
ESG Lab & Society based its innovative approach on its core values: collaboration, trust, exchange and enthusiasm. This is our way of helping organizations transform themselves.
Beyond being a tool for financial analysts to help evaluate the non-financial performance of a company, ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) is currently a powerful means by which to transition the economy into a more sustainable, collaborative, inclusive, and citizen model.
The shortage of our planet’s resources and the environment should be at the heart of a company’s strategic thinking. Economic actors have to think differently in order to anticipate the likely evolutions and ruptures to come.
ESG must become a competitive asset in order to thrive in the long run.
ESG is also a way of giving purpose back to organizations and stakeholders, a way of redefining values and a way of living better together and building a better world for tomorrow. In that model, companies must become protagonists and offer solutions.
Even though good financial health stays essential for a company, the ones that do not take this turn are risking:
ESG stakeholders do not or barely know or work with each other and too often work independently.
Meeting in institutional structures does not usually encourage open minds and therefore does not help build trust or create common solutions.
Until now, there was no place where the whole ESG ecosystem could gather and ”co-build” solutions while creating lasting relationships.

ESG Lab & Society was born from these statements.
We put people at the center of our mission to:
Trust
It is the ultimate objective of our project to support our members in a friendly environment as they lead their organizations towards the future.
Sincerity
The ability of someone to be themselves feeds their self-confidence as well as confidence towards others and the future. The most beautiful projects and the greatest ambitions were born from sincerity.
Solidarity
The trust and sincerity that surround someone and their relationships create a healthy environment that fosters solidarity.
Enthusiasm
Optimism is the key towards change. Despite the many threats that the planet and humankind face, we refuse to be paralyzed by fear and we choose to take action with enthusiasm.
“Sincerity and solidarity bring people together and generate trust and enthusiasm. These values are necessary to preserve life.”
As a company with a mission, ESG Lab & Society wishes to combine economic imperatives with environmental and social goals. We explained its purpose in our by-laws:
“ESG Lab & Society is both a place and a community that makes trust and dialogue their top priority to create solutions adapted to their clients’ needs, all with a common objective: accelerate collectively the transformation of organizations to a more sustainable model.”
ESG Lab & Society is committed to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (including the SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals) adopted by the UN with a deadline in 2030. These goals are a call for action towards the protection of people and the planet without compromising economic growth.
ESG Lab & Society is committed to a process of B Corp certification.
All stakeholders in the ESG ecosystem can become Members of ESG Lab & Society: listed and non-listed companies, investment funds, banks, proxy advisory firms, NGOs, non-financial rating agencies, civil society groups, scientists, academics, experts, …
The benefits of membership include having access to high-quality and innovative services and to an active community – enlightened by experts and experience-sharing. A community that “co-builds” the answers of tomorrow.
Members share the same objective: they are looking to build ESG solutions with the trust and support of a network of other members.
So as to ensure a high-level organizational commitment to ESG principles, ESG Lab & Society relies mainly on the support of business leaders.
We offer 3 types of membership.
